Where appropriate, ERSTex can integrate erstoair as part of a building-specific ventilation and moisture-management concept.
erstoair is a decentralised exhaust-air and moisture-management system. Active exhaust-air modules are used in moisture-prone and wet rooms, while controlled make-up air is provided through suitable window-rebate systems in living and sleeping areas.
This creates a defined airflow towards moisture-producing rooms and supports the controlled reduction of moisture loads. The specific design and operating parameters are determined according to the building and its use.
Functional mould protection with erstomould
erstomould is a functional mould-protection coating for suitable mineral surfaces.
Existing mould contamination and mycelial structures are incorporated into and functionally encapsulated within the coating system. This supports the inhibition of further growth and the stabilisation of the treated surface.
The functional principle is based on the properties of the coating system and does not replace the need to investigate and, where possible, address the underlying cause of recurring mould contamination.
