Gel-like long-term component for critical, moisture-exposed and repeatedly stressed surfaces

erstoshield is the gel-like long-term component within the ersto-Hygienesystem. The product was developed for moisture-exposed, critical or repeatedly exposed surfaces where a long-lasting, microbe-inhibiting preventative treatment is paramount.

 

While erstosan is particularly suitable for thin protective films, regular maintenance applications and hard-to-reach areas, erstoshield is used where a more robust and longer-lasting stabilisation of critical surface areas is required.

Application & Instructions

erstoshield can be used as a targeted long-term component or, within the ersto-Hygienesystem, can follow a thorough cleaning with erstoclean.

erstoclean + erstoshield

For critical moisture-exposed areas and longer-lasting microbe-inhibiting preventive treatments.

For comprehensive system treatments that also include hard-to-access areas, technical zones or ventilation areas.

 

erstoshield as a targeted supplement

For existing cleaning concepts where an additional long-term component is needed for microbe-inhibiting surface prevention.

Application note

The surface should be thoroughly cleaned and prepared before application. Ideally, this is done with erstoclean .

 

erstoshield is then applied in a thin layer to the suitable surface, for example with a suitable roller or brush. The gel should be allowed to absorb into suitable surfaces and begin to dry. Afterwards, the surface can be used again, depending on the area and technical requirements.

 

The exact application procedure depends on the surface, load, environment, and technical application instructions. Detailed information on substrates, application, material compatibility, application quantities, as well as safety and application guidelines can be found in the respective technical data sheets and safety data sheets.
